3/8/2009 - New HCAP jersey with RCS logo
RCS is satisfied with the great interest shown by its customers for the matches of the Ambrì Piotta Hockey Club and has therefore decided to strengthen the partnership with the club for the season 2009/2010.
Filippo Lombardi, president of the HCAP – as well as managing director of RCS - and the new coach Benoît Laporte proudly presented the new team jersey.

At the Athletissima Meeting of 7th July 2009 in Lausanne RCS has received several customers and planners of the region in the space reserved for SMEs. It was a pleasant get-together in a relaxed atmosphere.

RCS has recently supplied a new water cooled chiller to the Brico-Do It Yourself store in Cadenazzo. This is a further company that relies on RCS technology and experience in matters of conditioning.

The first Energy Event organized by RCS was held on Friday 24 April 2009 at the Ferrari Showroom in Grancia. In the spectacular setting of the "prancing horse" about sixty invited of the industry have followed an interesting conference on energy policy of the Federal Government and on several new offerings on the market. Keynote speaker was Filippo Lombardi, chairman of the Energy Commission to the Council as well as a board member of RCS. The conference was followed by a rich cocktail and interesting discussions among the participants.

7/4/2009 - New service technician for the German-speaking Switzerland
Since 23 March 2009 Konrad Dick strengthens the RCS team in the German-speaking Switzerland. As a competent professional with great technical experience with heat pumps, Konrad Dick assumes responsibility for the project management in the German-speaking Switzerland including the after sales business. Thanks to the expanded team and with the support of technicians in Ticino and in the French-speaking Switzerland, RCS further strengthens its customer service and ensures an even better and more efficient facilities support.

From 1st March 2009, the RCS area office in the German speaking part of Switzerland will move from Wallisellen to Biberist. Thanks to the new location RCS will be able to guarantee a more efficient logistics and an excellent customer service. The new building and the surrounding area offer ideal conditions for the new warehouse and the loading/unloading of the trucks.

5/2/2009 - Bethesda Hospital in Basle
RCS has delivered a new chiller with turbo-compressor to the Bethesda Hospital in Basle, member of the “Swiss Leading Hospitals”.
RCS has already been able to acquire great experience with these oil-free compressors Turbocor. In fact, RCS has already provided the same technology to the Merian Iselin Hospital in Basle and to the BMW Sauber building in Hinwil. This refrigeration system ensures significant energy savings.

18/12/2008 - New cooling tower for ABB Turgi (AG)

RCS has supplied and installed on site a new 1300 kW cooling tower for ABB in Turgi. An identical cooling tower is already successfully in use since 10 years at ABB. That’s the reason why the customer decided again for a quiet Evapco LSWA cooling tower whit a sound pressure level of only 54 db (A) in 15m.
The spectacular installation of the equipment lasted 7 hours and the cooling tower is now available for daily use.

Two new water chillers R410 of the Manta series have been installed in the Bucherer jewelry store in Locarno. The Bucherer branch in Lugano had been previously equipped with identical machines.

This morning RCS has delivered two new water chillers with 250 kW each to the Admiral Casino in Mendrisio. These two machines are in addition to the water chiller of 500 kW, which is in operation since 2 years.

During the warranty period RCS offers a free monitoring system on the web for most water chillers. This system allows our technicians to control the correct operation of machinery and, if necessary, intervene from remote workstation. Our customers can also check their installations through our site.

After the installation of a Trilogy system for McDonald's in Geneva, we have now also put into service a fluid cooler for the branch of Pambio-Noranco.

RCS tested successfully together with the project manager and the planners a new compressor for refrigeration with oil-free magnetic bearings at the RC Group of Pavia. This refrigeration plant will be supplied to the ETH in Basle.

New water chillers have been provided to the Mantegazza building in Lugano-Paradiso, one of the most renowned constructions in Lugano. The reversible units (hot/cold) use water of Lake Lugano for heat dissipation.

From 1. July 2007 RCS team is expanded with a new member Mr. Konrad Gisler. Mr. Gisler will operate as responsible sales manager for the cantons BE, SO, AG, LU, BL and BS. RCS has tested at RC Group factrory in Pavia together with the consultant engineer and the intaller, 3 chillers with the new oil free turbo compressor to be supplied to BMW Sauber for the cooling of the new building; the famous Formula 1 Team in Hinwill. The supply is also including a large number of close control units and fan coils.

From today, Ing, Jean Claude Machoud already partner and consultant of RCS, started in our company as director and responsable for the french speaking area. Today starts the activity of our company. We are in Melide, inside the building of Teleticino, we are 5 people: Davide Chessa, coming from an experience of 13 years as Export Manager of the company RC Group in Pavia, Cornelia Parma, our secretary and aministration responsible, Wolfgang Stoffel, coming from a long experience in air conditioning, Jean Claude Machoud, consultant and agent for the french part of Switzerland and Matteo Fanfaroni, technical consultant coming from RC Group of Pavia. Our organization has as target the exclusive distribution and the service of RC Group products on the Swiss Market.
