A new compressor for refrigeration and for air conditioning with a revolutionary technology has recently been introduced on the market.
It is a turbo compressor with magnetic bearings controlled by an internal microprocessor and inverter. This new technology has several advantages, the main are:

• No starting current
• Very high efficency at partial load
• No power factor capacitor required
• Low weight
• Long operating life, no vibrations
• No mechanical bearings
• Possibilty with air cooled condenser
• Oil free and R134a refrigerant charge
• Low noise
• Dedicated microprocessor control

RC Group has been world-wide one of the first companies cooperating with the turbo compressor manufacturer for the developing of water chillers. Currently the RC Group has created a product series using this kind of compressors. Numerous technical solutions, in particular for the control and supervision of the compressor, have been developed, thanks to the operational experience of more than 5 years.

This new technology for refrigerant compressors is applied in water chillers with water cooled condenser and air cooled condenser from 240 and 1364 kW.

The RCS has taken advantage of the RC Group experience, and has further improved its technicians for the sale and the maintenance of this new component. Many experiences have been done in different prestigious installations on the Swiss territory, e.g.: Merian Iselin Hospital in Basle and Sauber BMW factory in Hinwil.
